Body Toxicity and Weight Gain

In addition to discovering that I have been Gluten Intolerant most of my adult life, which really became much worse as I aged,  I was plagued with inflammation and obesity that was only worsening with age,  I believe that my body was also full of toxins from the many chemicals in food and the environment of City life.  I say this because when I ceased consuming gluten and any products with additives or preservatives, my body composition drastically changed and I lost weight without trying.   I simply made the firm decision that I was not going to eat anything harmful from a certain point forward.  This decision transformed my health. I lost about 100 pounds and regained much of my lost health. My opinion is that toxicity played a part in this.  My body reacts to gluten as if its poison:  Joint pain, excessive weight,  water retention,  etc.  Making lifestyle changes and consuming healthy foods made a huge difference.  Here is a...

Essential Oils

There was a time in my younger years where I would laugh at the use of essential oils,  and dismissed using them on account of my masculinity.  Oh was I so wrong.  I use them now and they are fantastic for many reasons.  Here is an excellent article on the medicinal value of essential oils, and below this link is another for choosing essential oils applications.  Both are awesome.   https://www.academia.edu/28091208/Essential_Oils_Its_Medicinal_and_Pharmacological_Uses?email_work_card=view-paper https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/what-are-essential-oils#what-they-are

Good Morning! Why our logo is significant.

Image
Our logo is significant because the title of my book is, "Slaying The Inflammation Dragon". About a year ago I was horribly sick and overweight and plagued with joint pain and chronic inflammation.  I took control of my eating habits and addressed gluten intolerance. Essentially, I slayed the inflammation dragon, saving my health.  Doctors are not telling us what we need to know to be healthy.  They are concerned with very costly surgeries and pharmaceutical drugs where they are receiving monetary compensation to keep us sick.  This needs to change seriously, and this is what this blog and new book is all about. My new book is coming out in 2025.

Ultraprocessed food: Addictive, Toxic, and Ready for Regulation

This article by Doctor Robert Lustig really outlines the causative factors of many diseases that arise from ultra-processed foods and cause non-communicable diseases: sugar abuse, food addiction, food additives, etc.,  and the etiology of these items on disease and deaths.  The article is forthcoming and highly informative.  https://www.mdpi.com/881090 Lustig, Robert H. 2020. So many conditions are reversible.

Conversation from  Thomas P Seager, PhD @seagertp Testosterone is synthesized from cholesterol in a process that is initiated inside the mitochondria. Low testosterone in men is a consequence of poor mitochondrial function, and it is reversible without exogenous hormones. Your doctor will never tell you this.

Save Yourself By Learning As Much As You Can

Here is an in-depth medical article about the similarities of Gluten Sensitivity and Celiac disease from the National Library of medicine.  A careful reading and you can see that Celiac Disease and Gluten Sensitivity both cause malabsorption in the small intestine.  This can prevent many sick people from every healing from an injury or illness,  and this is exactly what happened to me for more than a decade.  It is only recent research and findings that the medical community is acknowledging the seriousness of both of the conditions as well as the other gluten related conditions.  Celiac disease and Non Celiac Disease Gluten sensitivity have so much in common that it is difficult for the medical profession to even make an accurate determination with extensive and invasive testing.  The treatment for both conditions are identical, a Gluten Free diet.   For me personally,  I had a sports injury that never properly healed because I was ne...

Gluten Intolerance

Research has found that a person who is gluten intolerant is similar to a person with Celiac disease and this damages the villi in your gut and causes malabsorption of nutrition.  This is why when so many people eat a big meal,  they are hungry very shortly thereafter.  Here are some articles that support this damaging condition, which leads to a multitude of diseases.   https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/signs-you-are-gluten-intolerant#celiac-symptoms https://www.merckmanuals.com/professional/gastrointestinal-disorders/malabsorption-syndromes/celiac-disease I was gluten intolerant most of my adult life.  I was never tested for it,  and most doctors that I visited and questioned had no idea about it. It can be life-threatening as it causes hundreds of diseases.  Regulatory agencies and the commercialized food industry are damaging us to epic proportions.  That's why I wrote my book,  to let people know that unless they make serious cha...

Health and Wellness: What's in your food? FDA bans the use of red dye Number 3 in foods.

The FDA banned the use of Red Dye number 3 in foods this week.  It has been used for decades in food and candy,  and has been linked to causing cancer in laboratory rats. The Center for Science in the Public Interest has been petitioning the FDA for many years. It was also found that evidence exists that red dye 3, along with many other petroleum-based dyes that are still being used in thousands of foods and candy products,  may exacerbate behavioral issues in children.   (https://www.npr.org/2025/01/15/nx-s1-5260909/fda-bans-red-dye-3) It's a good thing that the FDA has banned this dangerous product.  Like all toxins,  none is better than a lot.  The less you consume the better.  We as humans,  are not designed to consume an onslaught of toxicity due to the fact we live in a commercialized society, where food is associated with so many things. We are organic beings no matter how you look at it.  Ingesting chemicals can and will eve...
